Bill Pierce, a professional taxidermist with over 30 years experience as a working professional will be working with you to insure your success.

Bill grew up on a dairy farm outside of Decatur, Texas He began hunting and fishing at the age of 8, by the age of 12 he did his first shoulder mount, everything he could find catch or shoot had to be mounted and after a bit of practice, his finished products are now works of art. Bill worked in a number of other jobs throughout the next several years. What started out then more as a hobby has been exploding as an occupation now.

You always hear the saying that you should work doing something you love to do or have a passion for. In this case, it is an understatement. What is exciting to him is all of the other experience that he picked up on his way to this profession. Working in the auto industry has helped teach him how to work on his own equipment, not to mention the cost savings of doing his own work in building his studio, school and housing facility. The glass industry work aided in his working well with tools and with his hands,  in conjunction with the valuable customer service and people skills learned. Bill has no regrets of how long it has taken him to get into this field, because everything that has led up to now makes him a versatile taxidermist.

Bill first opened his processing business in 2000. Word of mouth was his best advertisement, "His name had been around for a long time and people felt secure with his work and he had clients who came back year after year."  With Taxidermy growing to a billion dollar a year industry, the high demand for qualified taxidermist and the fire burning inside of him to keep his goals within reach, his taxidermy business was launched.

Its like hunting season never ends. And the best thing is - he has learned so much about wildlife. Bill can now see and understand the different expressions and details on a deer's face and body posture. There is no greater feeling of accomplishment then when he slowly sees a tanned piece of hide taking shape into a beautiful animal. Sometimes he just sits back and stares at the mount during various stages and marvels at the way nature puts things together and the way each animal is adapted to survive in its environment. Bill can't find a better way to relax than to work the face of a deer into place and see that soft, innocent look in its expression come to life. Bill wanted to share this experience and his knowledge with others, that is when his role shifted over to teacher and with the love and support from Jill his "better half" the ATST ("All Trophy's" School of Taxidermy) was started.

Based on Jill's years of business management skills and Bill's 30 years experience in the field, and numerous years of private instruction, ATST students will develop the latest techniques, business laws and pertinent information pertaining to the industry. Unlike other schools that work assembly line fashion, ATST has all the room you need, you will not be elbow to elbow and their classes are designed to be small and personal. Student's will receive many hours of one to one instruction and hands on projects. With a 95% success rate ATST students will develop skills and  knowledge they can apply to creating their own business, "this is the missing niche in the marketplace". Our instruction will not be the type based on video correspondence, but will be a real qualified instructor working with students on real projects, giving the student a definitive advantage, leading to an in-depth understanding of the technical art of taxidermy.

Now, as always the school stays small with only a limited number of students yearly. An active taxidermy business in operation is still an important part of the learning atmosphere.

"Do I wish I had gotten into this 20 years ago? YES! The look of a satisfied customer brings memories back of myself, To bring that animal "back to life", so that someone can look at and enjoy, and possibly share "the hunt" with a youngster is very gratifying for me. If taxidermy is what you love to do, it will happen! If you love it like I do, the rewards are far more than any other profession could fulfill."
